Wish I'd found Jim's Automotive years ago. Richard took the time to discuss my car's rough idle problem in great detail with me over the phone! THAT is the key to a relationship with a trusted mechanic. I learned about my vehicle in an honest way and was treated with kindness and respect. Thank you, Richard!

My husband and I brought in our Chevy Equinox in late March. We exchanged emails with Richard and he was very quick to get back to us and schedule an appointment. Our car was serviced the morning we dropped it off and we were able to pick it up by mid-afternoon. We knew that the work was expensive and that the required services were unavoidable. When comparing prices, we felt very comfortable with Jim's Automotive. Richard and Jim (not the namesake) explained everything in vivid detail, asked if we were comfortable with the charges and even showed us the rusty parts which were replaced. Having relocated to the area, we feel very fortunate to have found a automotive shop that we can trust. Thank you, Jim's, for a very positive and easy-going experience.

So friendly, honest and fast!!! My Elantra didn't pass inspection at the dealership and they were going to charge me over $900 for the exhaust. That was more than I had to spend in a 7 year old car all at once. I called Jim's and was offered an appointment the next day. They looked at it, told us it would be around $650 to fix it and possibly a few days to find the part. I don't know where they found the part but my car was fixed the next day and it was only $600. What a great experience:) I will only take my car here from now on!!!

Have had my vehicle in a couple times and have been very pleased with the service provided. No hidden costs or shady extras. Straight forward and helpful. I wish there were more shops with the integrity of Rich, Danny and Jim.

Best auto repair shop in Arlington. Fair prices and honest work.

Best place around here for reasonable prices.. I highly recommend this place.
